Thunderstruck Canada Dance Competition Regulations

Entries

Entries are processed in the order they are received and are limited to the amount of performance time available, so please enter early to avoid disappointment! Dancers may enter as many categories as they wish. All entries will receive complete adjudication package for each performance. Receive a 5% discount when entries are submitted, entered and paid 60 days prior to the competition date.

Names, ages and birth dates of all contestants must appear on the entry form or it will not be accepted. Contestants will be responsible for producing proof of age should any questions arise. Failure to do so may result in disqualification and forfeiture of awards.

  • Solo's: You can enter more than one solo but you can not compete against yourself. Each routine is adjudicated and receives a trophy but only the top performance is considered for awards. A dancer may dance solo's in a different performance division or dance up an age group to be eligible to place multiple solo's in Overall Awards. Please see Dance Categories page for more information.
  • Duo's & Trio's compete in the same category.
  • Late entries will be accepted if scheduling permits.
  • Entries will not be accepted at the competitions.
  • Please enter by the deadline date.
  • Independent entries accepted at discretion of TSC.
  • TSC reserves right to refuse and/or remove an entry.

There will be a $45.00 service charge for all checks returned by the bank. If the bank has returned a check, all future entries or purchases must be made by money order, bank draft or certified check. If payment has not been received on a returned check by the competition date, dancers(s) will not be permitted to perform.

Late Changes

There will be a $10.00 fee for each change made less than 14 days prior to the competition. This fee must be paid by credit card at the time the change(s) is made. NO CHANGES WILL BE PERMITTED AT THE COMPETITION WITHOUT THE DIRECTORS APPROVAL.
